On both nights we booked the wine pairing tasting dinner, and we thoroughly enjoyed this. You could appreciate that there had been consideration placed on the correct pairings and the food was beautifully presented and tasty. I enjoyed being briefed by the chefs before each dinner of what was being served that evening.

We rode our bikes through the stud farm, Summerhill, and this was a very enjoyable activity as the surrounds are gorgeous. Next time we come, we will request a stud farm tour as it is quite an operation.

Everyone from the top down is there to assist you. Our head-waiter was knowledgeable, polite and humourous. The manager, Duncan is excellent and is a contributing factor for our returns to Hartford. We will definitely be back, and I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful spot, it is such an enjoyable stay.
