Update on Hartford House Hotel’s Renovations: Phase 1

“Henning Pretorius, the new owner of Summerhill Equestrian and Hartford House Hotel, decided that if he was to take over this little hotel on the Hlatikulu Road just outside Mooi River, it was going to be restored and re-established as a pre-eminent destination in South Africa’s Tourism and Hospitality industry.”

The project team has been working full steam at “Phase One” which consists of complete maintenance repairs as well as interior changes for the beautiful Manor House, The Moor Room, Veranda Rooms 5 – 8, Garden Suites 9 and 10 as well as Pool Suites 11 and 12. New Heritage Veranda Rooms 1 – 4 have been added to this portfolio of rooms. The Tennis Court, Swimming Pool and Gardens are all being refreshed as well.

Phase 1 is anticipated to be completed by the first week of December 2020.
