“Hartford House is definitely one not to be missed if you are doing the Midlands Meander. Gracious hospitality, beautiful setting and sublime food and wine. We stayed at one of the lake suites and it felt as if time slowed down. The room was beautiful and being a birthday treat we were spoilt rotten. Lunch and dinner were sublime, as was breakfast. The food is some of the best I have ever tasted. Menus change regularly depending on availability and seasonality. Ingredients are sourced from the Hartford garden or the surrounding area and flavours were fresh and delicious. Thank you Duncan, Tijn and team for an unforgettable treat!”
