“Having stayed at this magnificent hotel on many occasions dating back to the late 90s, I have come to love their hospitality. The last visit was for a simple lunch and Chef Constantijn Hahndiek is a genius. Always taking great care to produce plates of the freshest ingredients from not only local suppliers but from the hotel’s handsome estate. It’s a culinary destination well worth taking note of for anyone visiting KwaZulu-Natal.

My stay earlier in March 2017 was yet again amazing. Such warm family hospitality and due to my long history, there are a few staff members who I remember from my youth. I love coming home to Hartford House. Cheryl & Mick, the owners, are a hospitality industry institution.”
