“We stopped at Hartford House for lunch on Friday before a weekend in the Midlands. We’ve eaten at restaurants all around the world, some spectacular and some less so, Hartford House is the former! Duncan Bruce, our host, was exceptional and the service throughout the meal was on point and real five star. With a great setting and great service there may be a concern that the food isn’t as good but that wasn’t the case. The food was exquisite. The cold melon soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever had and every meal we had had buckets of flavour and taste. This is really one for your list of places to visit. We loved every second of it and will be back as fast as we can.”
